★早稲田奉仕園×KAFIN Migrant Center 共催イベント！

　日本でも1980年代から長い移民の歴史をもつフィリピン。移住労働者の送り出し国として人口の1割（約800万人）が海外で働いており、日本にも多くのフィリピンルーツの方が暮らしています。今回、早稲田奉仕園では、KAFIN Migrant Center と共に、3つの連続イベントを企画します。
　KAFIN Migrant Center は、埼玉を拠点に活動するフィリピン人移住者のグループです。主に、DV被害にあったフィリピン人女性の支援を20年以上してこられ、来年からNPO法人化します。草の根で活動を続けてきた経験をもとに、なぜたくさんのフィリピン人が移住労働をするのか、なぜ日本ではその多くが女性なのか、なぜ支え合いが必要なのかなど、第一歩の「なぜ」を紐解いていきます。そして、LGBTQ＋として、労働者として日本に生きるフィリピン移住者の文化や権利について共に考えていきましょう。
 

★Waseda Hoshien x KAFIN Migrant Center Joint events!

　The Philippines has a long history of migrants from 1980s in Japan. 10% of the population (about 8,000,000) migrates overseas to look for jobs, and many Filipino live in Japan too. Waseda Hoshien and KAFIN Migrant Center will hold 3 events together.
　KMC is a Filipino migrant group based in Saitama. More than 20 years, they have been supporting women who were exposed to DV in Japan. They will be officially NPO next year.  Based on their experiences, in these events, we will figure out basic WHY related to Filipino Migrants – why Filipino have to work overseas, why many of them are women in Japan, why they need to support each other, and etc… Also, let’s think together about the Filipino cultures and rights as LGBTQ+ and laborers living in Japan through entire events.
