“Buhay Migrante” will basically tackle issues and day-to-day life of foreign migrant workers in japan.
 
　In this rapidly changing and fluid economic stability as impacted by the spread of the COVID19 pandemic, migrant workers are one of the primary sector of the productive economic forces that were severly affected by decreased productivity and activites of major industries. But even before the covid19 pandemic have crippled the industry productivity, migrant workers already have been experiencing various types of abuse, discrimination and violation of their labour standards rights.
　These were the main challenges that migrant workers are facing amidst continuously changing immigration policies that affects their landed rights.
　As such, Migrante-Japan chapter and Kafin Migrant Center aims to battle and struggle for the protection and advancement of migrant workers rights and welfare in the boundaries of international laws and the local labour standards as implemented by Japan.

　コロナ感染拡大によって経済状況が急速に変化する中、主要産業を支える移住労働者は大きな影響を受けています。しかし、それ以前から移住労働者は様々な暴力や差別、労働基準法違反をすでに経験してきました。変化し続ける移民政策下で、移住労働者たちは自分たちの権利にかかわる大きな挑戦に直面しています。
　このイベントでは、KAFIN Migrant Centerのメンバー・ロジャーさんをお迎えし、日本において、国際法と現地の労働基準との狭間に置かれた移住労働者の権利保護や福祉向上について、自身の経験を踏まえお話しいただきます。
